Default Beautiful Homes
I have family coming to town that love driving around and exploring upscale neighborhoods with beautiful homes/mansions. I know there must be many great areas, but does anyone have any specific recommendations for a nice drive in the Charlotte area? No gated communities (of course) . Thanks.

I absolutely love driving around the Myers Park area. There's lots of beautiful homes there! And, if the weather is nice and your guests are up for it, you could take a detour to Freedom Park.

I'm sure others will chime in... but I just love walking/driving through Myers Park on a nice day!

Well, the first place place that comes to mind is Myers Park But also be sure to see it's neighbors Dilworth and Eastover. Do you need some directions?

Definitely take them down Queens Road West and thru Myers Park and Dilworth. Too bad the trees are bare this time of year. It's like a canopy in the spring. 4th Ward has beautiful Victorians and is a spectacular neighborhood.

I hear that Myers Park is very nice/affluent, along with the Dilworth area. I think you can drive around in some areas, but not sure if there are gated community areas there or not? There's a couple of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$homes for sale there! Website:

It borders Myers Park.
