I've been doing a little research for a possible move to Charlotte. We're Jewish and I read that Myers-Park is the best high school. Are there Jewish neighborhoods in that district and are there newer homes in the district? Let me rephrase that. Is there an area in Charlotte with a top high school, newer homes and near the Jewish areas?

Glad you rephrased, I was about to ask you what a Jewish neighborhood looks like!
You can find many nice homes in an around the JCC in south Charlotte. MANY Jewish families have relocated here. Look for homes in the Ardry Kell or Providence High School attendance zones and you'll likely love where you'll be living. Welcome to Charlotte!
Our child goes to Elon Park elementary (an Ardrey Kell HS feeder school). Last year there were was only one other Jewsih child in the class. This year my child is the only Jewish child in the class. It can be quite a culture shock if you're moving from New York or the Northeast (particularly around Christmas time when your child may feel a little left out.) In that regard, the JCC and their summer camp and religous school can be an excellent resource. But, for better or worse, it ain't Scarsdale, Newton or Shaker Heights.
There are a number of Jewish kids at Myers Park High School - I have a few Jewish neighbors and I am in the MP High School district. I don't know of any 'Jewish' neighborhoods.
I'm from Israel.
My family, with two young children, will moved to Charlotte.
My daughter is 6 years old. She speaks Hebrew. And I want her to studying at Jewish Day school.
We have nobody in your town. therefore very important for me that my daughter could learn
among the Jews for the first time. But paying 13 000$ - its imposible for us.
Perhaps the Jewish community has some help in setting up for the Jewish
families?
The people that work in membership at the JCC are pretty knowledgeable. Try giving them a call and ask for some advice. Also I've heard that the day school offers scholarships so that may be something to look into, it doesn't hurt anyone to ask.

Good Luck!
Thank you. It does not really hurt.
My problem is - the English language. I can not talk on the phone.
Maybe there is someone says, in Hebrew?
