From the live streams, looks like the out-of-towners have arrived tonight. I guess the Occupy crowd got bus tickets. People chanting along behind point persons with megaphones.

No, Putney stated there is no definitive evidence of him pointing a gun.

The attorney of the family stated that the family has now seen the video. Why have they not made a statement saying "We have seen the video and can confirm he did not have a gun"?

Maybe you just hit on the solution: all black men should wear body cams 24/7 with continuous uplink feed to a server to record all their interactions and activities, free to them if they agree to the terms. All police stops & possible shootings of them would be recorded! But the catch would be everything else they did would be too...

Saying "it hasn't been confirmed that the shooter was black" is a pretty bold accusation.

I haven't watched that woman's video, but saw some other articles about it. Apparently it was actually her picture that proved Scott had a gun...

It must be hard for the homeless guys on the benches to get any sleep tonight, with all the chanting going on...

Charlotte police chief: Video provides no

CMPD chief says video shows no definitive evidence Scott had a gun and pointed it before he was killed.

Video doesnt have to be released to public.

if there is no evidence of him holding a gun it means he was unarmed. How are there 3 video cameras and none of them show him with a gun or pointing it bwfore being shot?

and the family is going to get a large settlement from the city.

the fact that the chief said they dont have to show the video to the public proves its a cover up.

if it showed Scott was a threat why not release it?

Man, I just realized that if this was happening last month I wouldn't have been taking my family to the Knights games. Wonder if they are second guessing the move from Fort Mill to Uptown about now... At least western civilization endured through the end of baseball season 2016.

As the post you were replying to states, Putney said there was no definitive video evidence that he pointed a gun. He didn't say anything that I saw about the video showing if he was holding a gun or not.

I did just see that the family has seen the video and wants it to be released...
