Hi everyone,
I'm in my late twenty move in Charlotte for 1 year now but still struggle to have some friends around here...Not having kids is a part of making thing hard but i just wanna know where to meet people (i try meetup with no success...) looking for some advise.
We relocated to Charlotte 8 years ago and also find it challenging making friends we have no kids. We are from older married couple. I suggest volunteer and doing activities you enjoy. And continue meetup group or even start one.
In addition to work, volunteering, getting to know your neighbors, classes in subjects of interest, and continued participation in meetup or similar activities, have you considered taking English language classes if English is not your first language? In addition to potentially enhancing your existing skills, you may meet some friends encountering similar challenges. Good luck!
