I believe Jetton Park has one...there are several I've heard of in your area.

Not at Jetton, but at Ramsey Creek. Small fee now, but will be free beginning June or July.

There are a couple that follow the same fee status.
Here's the site you need to learn about the parks and passes.
Park and Rec Dog Parks (http://www.charmeck.org/Departments/Park+and+Rec/Parks/Dog+Parks/Home.htm - broken link)

just to add to what others have pointed out...i've been to 3 of the 4 meck. county dog parks, and ramsey creek is by far my favorite (davey park & mcalpine creek are the others i've been to). i think you'll be very happy about the small fee needed to get access. i've found both the dogs and the owners very friendly at ramsey creek - and it has plenty of grass and tends to stay much drier than the others. enjoy!

Is Ramsey Creek the one where there is a police station, and a dock to fish off?? if so the policeman said I had to leave our dog on a leash?? Jetton Park is where our son takes our dog and walks her, but thats not leashless either. They do a lot of walking, I have to do a lot of sitting, can't walk to far as yet, so if I could find a leashless park, she at least would be able to run around a bit. Especially on the days when my son can't take her anywhere.
Thanks also for the website on the parks. Very helpful!

Barkingham Park is located at Reedy Creek Park, 2900 Rocky River Road. This park is a four-acre, fenced-in, off-leash area for dogs.

Please go to the links provided to understand that these are off leash dog parks. Outside of the 4 acre fenced in area the dogs are required to be on the leash per Mecklenburg county laws. 100% off-leash inside the fence.

Default Are there any dog parks with agility toys?

My daughter lives in Knoxville, TN and came to Charlotte for the weekend. I got the pooch pass and we went to Reedy Creek Park. We were very disappointed as it was only an enclosed dirt park with no toys for the dogs. She showed me the website for their park and I was ashamed.
