People here are talking right past one other. Yes, there's plenty to do in Charlotte. And yes, the city seems boring compared to other cities. Both things can be true. I explained why in post #29.

Anyone that would consider the article made available bu near_to_Chicago as anything other than garbage and/or the the rantings of a miserable person with a nasty outlook on life and a person that looks for the bad side of everything is a pretty bad judge of character. The article appears to be a epic posting for near-to-Chicago. If that is true, wait to see how big a list can be made about things to hate about Chicago if that's where he is heading. There would be no ending. Moving would settle the whole issue for chronic cry-babies, right?

Its actually simpler than that. Some people are trolls, and some are just boring. Otherwise, there's no reason to be bored in Charlotte. My post wasn't intended to change the mind of the person complaining, it was designed to provide balanced information to other people who may come across this thread.
