Default Custom Home Builders

Hello All...Can anyone recommend a very inexpensive "build on your lot" builder. I would like to build in the Denver area. Any suggestions/recommendations would be GREAT!

How inexpensive is 'inexpensive'?

I found that some builders that you usually see in a subdivision in a sales office (and may seem like they don't build on your lot), actually will build on any lot you want. A couple of builders that I approached to do the same thing said that they will buy your lot from you for the duration of the construction. I think it may have to do with their bank needing the lot as collateral to finance the project during construction.

Thumbs up Check these guys out they do a great job

try looking into RGL Builders, Inc. out of Harrisburg, NC. They would be able to build in the area you are talking about and they do a great job. Their web site is rglbuilders.com

I agree- what do you mean by inexpensive? I live in Denver and can give you lots of information about the different builders, but it does depend on what you are looking to do. (Just joined the forums so don't know what I can or can't say since I am in the industry) Good Luck....

JS Testa ask for Mike Testa or Jaci. We just had our home built by them and so far so good and a pleasure to work with.

In another thread, I asked something similar, specifically a builder who would build an A-Frame. I didn't get much of a response.

I have looked at some local non-corporate builders, but they all seem to specialize in “custom homes”, as in building houses with the finest appointments and detail to accommodate the luxurious lifestyle that executive-class cogniscendi demand in their grand estates. Or something. In other words, McMansions on steroids. Even more gables. Maybe some frescos and friezes slapped on too. The scandal is over, but it hasn't sunk in yet.

Maybe (for me, and maybe for you) the answer might be approaching someone who specializes in decks and home additions, and ask of they can build a normal-sized, affordable home.
