I'd bet they didn't sleep out there last night. It's getting cold.

We don't have an HOA and I can guarantee you that wouldn't happen in my neighborhood. There are still city ordinances and laws in place.
I have photos where previous renters had their sister and BIL living in a camper in my driveway. I asked the neighbors did this bother them, oh no they loved my renters and thus their guests.

So the moral of this story is even with laws in place it helps if the visitors are well behaved.

LOL They did!

Thank you all for the replies. I checked the ordinances and called the county zoning officers. They said tents are not a dwelling and will be out next week. The police were involved but just told us to check ordinances. They are aware of their addiction but did nothing.

Either way, hopefully he will have them gone next week. Thank you again for the help.

Absolutely! It wouldn't bother me as much if they didn't have their drug and mouth issues. Good moral!!

Why not put up Christmas lights on the tent and charge for viewing. It is the giving season. It could always be worse.
