it would be great fun. Interestingly, demographics for Millenium Kids suggest they are very into retro, so they might find the whole concept quite refreshing since they did not grow up w/ drive in theaters.
I guess the conditions to satisfy would be finding that much land at a good location . . . and I would have no idea how much it costs to secure rights to the movies . . . ? Could you do the audio via Bluetooth???? Could be very interesting concept - 21st C twist on a 20th C entertainment venue.

Oh! I love drive-ins! (a dying breed for sure though - as the land they sit upon becomes far to valuable, the owner succumbs to their low-profit buisness and eventually sells out...making more room for..so-called progress )
But there are a few that are still hanging on. Anybody been to the Belmont or Badin Road Drive-In?
Admission (from what I understand the owner does not make money on the movies but relies soley on the snack bar)

If money were no object...I would like to open a place similar to the John C. Campbell Folk School in Brasstown, NC...it would also sell the wares of local artists all in one location.
John C. Campbell Folk School

Ohhhhh - great idea! Again, fits into the block revitalization idea . . . many different venues/vendors/retailers in one condensed space.
Sure wish I would hit the lottery . . .

An affordable full service day spa, including a hair salon. That caters to working mothers.

A pie shop, pure pie, like Marie Calenders in CA, or a Dunkin Donuts (not enough of them IMO).
