Hello friends, Is there a place I can check into for employment for people over 55. Not as fast as I used to be but I still want to work a few days a week. thank you for any directions.

Apologies in advance for responding with a question, but could AARP be a possible source of helpful info? Or, neighbors, friends, ex-colleagues, religious, social or fraternal contacts, etc. for networking? Perhaps even NC's state employment department might provide some suggestions, especially as purportedly accurate, lower unemployment levels suggest employers may look for alternative staffing sources. For example, retired, motivated, likely reasonably well qualified individuals such as yourself interested in part-time work potentially without breaking a hiring employer's bank. Good luck!

Well, I found it of all places, Craigslist. Out of the hundreds I read, going back to Nov. there was one that I thought might be a fit. Even though it was posted that far back, I took a chance. Bingo. I was getting alittle bit worried there for a second. Everything is computerized and I'm not a spring chicken any longer.
