I am so sick of BoA and their BS, I don't know what to do. It's amazing because on the West Coast, BofA was a dream to work with. Does anyone have a bank they're pleased with and can recommend?

I agree - Wachovia is worth checking out as is BB&T. I also have used Charter and been pleased w/ them as well.

I've had nothing but problems with Wachovia. BOA seems fine. My bf wants a small bank when we head up there..

We use a bank in Lincolnton named First Federal Savings Bank. I'm not sure if there are any branches in your area. They are a very small hometown type bank. We live in Mooresville and drive to Lincolnton just to do business with them. They know us by name and if we need anything business wise, we can usually do it over the phone and have paperwork faxed or mailed. Customer service there is unsurpassed! We love the small town banking as opposed to being an account number at big banks. First Federal actually appreciates our business!

Banks suck. Join Truliant Federal Credit Union. They're awesome. I have heard Charlotte Metro is good too.

Same here Bofa has been a pleasure...all the others thumbs down. YOu have to remember that one bad experience with a person working at a bank doesn't mean that the bank itself is a problem, merely the person is.

I've got to agree. Nothing but the best from then, even back when they were Nations Bank.
