Greetings,

We will probably be coming to Charlotte later this summer for at least a year, possibly permanent.

My DH is losing his vision and we want to know about the services for those with low vision in the area. We are interested in opthamological services, doctors, and health care groups that specialize in this disability.

Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat in Southpark has some excellent doctors.

The State of NC has a department for the blind and vision impaired. Here is a link. I hope this helps!

I was in Charlotte Eye Ear Nose and Throat (CEENTA) yesterday and picked up a brochure from Metrolina Association for the Blind. See link above. I highly recomend Dr. Andrew Antoszyk as a retina specialist.
