How is this hotel and area to stay. I will be comming down March 18-23 with my wife and 2 kids and looking to spend around 100.00 per night and this hotel rate is 103.00 avg. over the 5 night stay.

I will be looking in the whole south Charlotte, Fort Mills, Union areas for relocation.

Thanks for your help

EDIT: Yes PineVille NOT Pineview

I've never stayed there but I drive by there all the time. It looks like a good place to base yourself. There are lots of restaurants nearby, Ihop is right across the street.

we stayed there when we came to "check out Charlotte" 3 years ago. It was nice and clean. Plus, they had a wonderful continental breakfast. It was more than just juice and muffins. Not sure if they still do that. It was also very convenient for us since we were here to look at houses in Fort Mill and Union County also!

Good Luck!

We've stayed there the last 3 times down for meetings about our house and it is great. In fact, we will probably stay there next weekend (our final walkthrough) Nice rooms, good internet access and nice breakfast. The biggest thing would be that if you are trying to get out on the road and go left during a really busy time (rush hour during the week) it might be a bit hard. But there is an intersection just pretty much right there, so you could go right and then do a u-turn. We normally don't leave right during rush hour and have not had a problem whatsoever getting out and going back toward the interstate.

It is a really easy on-off from the interstate, plus several restaurants in the area as well.

For the areas you are interested in: South Charlotte, Union County, and Fort Mill, SC...the hotel is a good central location. It may get a little congested at times but nothing to bad.

While you have already rec'd. some really good advice in regard to the quality of the hotel...for future reference I never leave home without....checking tripadvisor first.

This will also be a good location for the kids sake...there is the Pineville Ice House within walking distance...and just down the road is Carolina Place Mall.

Best of luck with your search!
