 )Just checking in . . . dragging pretty badly and even tho OC is right and chocolate surely cures anything . . . I feel feverish so can't chance spreading something on to you lovely ladies! Appreciate all the good wishes . . . but am just gonna have some soup and go back to bed! I am over the sore throat . . . it's the cough that is getting me now . . . so perhaps DH will fix me one of his famous toddies . . . Lucky for me, Salara is less than 5 miles from my house! OC - I have this feeling I am going to be making the trek to enjoy all the goodies as soon as I am back to my usual sparky self, Hee Hee. I am so disappointed that I won't be meeting our newcomers! You all have a blast . . . indulge and enjoy! And thanx again for the good wishes . . .

Ani (and everyone else who couldn't make it):
Three words: You missed IT! Oh, what fun the evening was...this is the most delightful group of women I have met in a long, long time and look forward to April. For those who may have reservations, DON'T. The desserts were fantastico and the company was a delight. Thanks, ladies. Hope to see you all soon! BTW...for all those interested, we were very well behaved and everyone stayed within the confines of our attire; no wheel barrow pushing, no waiter shoving, etc.

Ani, here's wishing you well and yes we missed your spirit tonight.
It was a blast to get together with CD ladies. Great desserts and conversation was had by all. Salaris was definitely a hot spot to be entertained. Looking forward to next time.....My dream will consist of floating chocolate pieces...

Let me start by saying our chosen destination, Salara, did not disappoint! Every single thing we ordered was absolutely devine and decadent, LOL. For those of you who love to go out for dessert, THIS is the place. There was even some nice live music when we first arrived which was a nice mood setter.
I so enjoyed seeing every single lady there, the ones I already knew and all the ones I had been hoping to get to know. There wasn't a dullard in the group and conversation was very lively! Between ProudGaurdWife and OCtoCLT I'm not sure who made me laugh more - you guys are SOOO funny! Ani, you really missed the fun too when we had the restaurant owner over to the table to chide him for a few "menu discrepencies" - which he was very good to stand and take - cause we sure dished it out! In an instant he discovered OCtoCLT is his biggest fan and well...let me just put it the way he did - good thing there was a table between the two of them  He and the food were such a hit it has been decided to do it all over again next month - date to be announced as soon as southcharlotte&union sets it, lol. Please do yourself a favor city-data ladies, don't miss the next one! This includes you stmarteen, marvinnative and lovethecarolinas!!!! YOU GUYS WERE SORELY MISSED! Oh, and BarbJ, you were worried about being the last to leave, but guess what??? IT WAS ME who drove off last. I'm so glad you came out to meet us
