It's actually in Dallas apparently, not Gastonia. The directions say,
"From I-85 S, take exit 20 and go north on New Hope Rd. approximately 2
miles. Turn left on Robinson Clemmer Rd. Turn left onto Briarwood Dr. and turn right onto Larkspur Lane."
Anyone know about this area of Gastonia? Is it safe? Is there anything around there?

I don't know anything about that specific neighborhood but there are things near exit 20. There is a mall and a hospital, many other businesses, doctors offices, restaurants. New Hope is a major road in Gastonia. It runs through the city (from Dallas to Belmont). Near exit 20, New Hope intersects with Franklin Blvd. which also has a lot of stores and restaurants/fast food places. There is a large shopping center called Franklin Square; It has a movie theater, national chain stores and restaurants.

This map may help you.

Thanks! I have heard that Dallas and East Gastonia are the best places to live in Gaston County. (Besides Belmont and Mount Holly)

Long Creek is technically in the Dallas area. The neighborhood starts right when you pass the food lion on New Hope...there's even a Long Creek Fish Camp thats pretty popular.
