From 2004 to 2014, 3,400 credible cases of child abuse by priests were forwarded to the Vatican. That's just the Catholic Church, obviously. How many cases of bathroom assaults by transgendered people occurred during the same time? From what I've read, its zero.

Churches are more dangerous than public restrooms. They should be banned.

Not at my house. I won't take crap from just anyone.

Years ago there was a problem with young boys being molested by grown men in public restrooms.
I suppose no one had any issue with that.

Jennifer Roberts is blasting everyone, including Cooper, for the repeal. Does she live under a rock? If she wanted better, why didn't she figure out a way to detain Berger so that the 2 lawyers could work it out? As far as that goes, why didn't she have her bill that started this written by lawyers?

I agree! Cooper did the best he could in a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" situation. At least Cooper was able to get Berger & Moore to drop the "rights of conscience" provision.

There's no way that a full repeal will happen as long as the GOP controls the General Assembly. The people blaming Cooper need to accept that. Cooper tried for a full repeal. It didn't work.

Why is NCAA creating a deadline? I don't like corporations running my government.

Amen! Amazing how all of the other business threats and boycotts couldn't generate a repeal. But the little sports organization came in and grabbed the state government by their _____ !

ACC Commissioner John Swofford issued a statement regarding the new law.

Quote:
"The recently passed legislation allows the opportunity to reopen the discussion with the ACC Council of Presidents regarding neutral site conference championships being held in the state of North Carolina. This discussion will take place in the near future, and following any decisions by the ACC Council of Presidents, announcements will be forthcoming.
If the ACC is satisfied, then I think the NCAA will go along with it as well.
