Retiring to Concord NC area. What are the neighborhoods to avoid?

Also looking at new home builders. Any feedback on Mattamy Homes?

Not sure of your price range but take a look at David Weekley at Parkside at Skybrook, particularly the Cabarrus side. Great school, centrally located between Huntersville, Uptown Charlotte and Concord and one of the better builder in the area.

Concord is pretty big and has a wide variety of neighborhoods. What are you looking for and what price range?
