I posted the other day on the wrong thread....anyone in the Sherrills Ford area that want to start a supper club or belongs to one we can try? We my husband and I are looking to meet people in the area and we love food, cooking, so thought a supper club would be great entertainment. We are close to hwy 150 and 5 min from hwy 16
I know that if you visit the website of the magazine Cooking Light there is a section for local cooking clubs. You don't have to subscribe & apparently they don't only cook light. I'm moving to Charlotte this summer, & my plan is to definately join a local cooking group.
If you got to meetup.com you can join clubs that are already organized in the area or start your own. I belong to one called Good Eats and Go Social Club and we get together for dinner often.

I did go to this website but there's not agroup by the lake, they are in Charlotte too far for me. I put out a blog but the sates are back to 2005 for the topic.

I have been to this site and we are trying a dinner meet up next Tues but I was looking for an actual supper club where groups cook and drink and have fun at each other houses in the area.

I ahve moved back into thie area after being gone for about 20 years. I too love to cook and would love to meet some folks in the area. I live very near Hwy 150 and I-77. Thanks.
