I would think a Krystal could do well if they returned to Charlotte, especially near nightlife and entertainment areas as a late night destination, or near college campuses. Or even catering to lunch crowds near apartments or an office park. The square burgers can be a tasty treat for a quick meal on the go, and their fries are good also. They just need a good location. Now whether you would prefer a White Castle, that may be a better choice for certain preferences, but they have not expanded south of Kentucky and Tennessee. So Krystal would be the likely choice if they were to return.
