I don't see why it would. Maybe you just didn't want to spend the time or money on decorations. Am I wrong?

A lot of houses don't decorate for Christmas. It's no big deal.

Down here in my subdivision we have folks that go all out for Christmas & folks like us that don't. Some of the displays here would make the Griswolds jealous. Its really a matter of what you feel like doing & how much you want your electric bill to rise. Since there's no HOA a lot of people leave their lights up year round too.

Seriously doubt anyone will care at all whether you choose to put up some lights or wreaths . . . I know people who don't so much "celebrate" Christmas but just like to see some white lights up cause it is cheerful.

As an avid Christmas decorator, I'd have to say the Griswolds are overrated. They used nothing but white lights with no design whatsoever.

I don't mind decorating, but I detest having to take it all down and pack it up! So I have cut back on my decorating. Someone should start a business - taking down holiday decorations.

Now you're talking!

Although the outdoor display that takes me days to put up actually only takes me one good day to take down. Maybe I should start that business.

Do you have any pics of your displays that we could see?

I actually hate it!

Thankfully we live on a cul-de-sac and our house is set so far back that noone would be coming by to see our decorations anyway.

I put up a pre-lit tree, pre-lit garland and let the kids put up whatever they are willing to take down after Christmas!

Dawn
