Why are there so many homes for sale in Skybrook?
Is is because of the sheer size of the community or because the golf course has not been kept up?
Am I reading correctly, that to utilize the pool and tennis amenities, there is a yearly $1000 membership fee? TIA

Yes. There is an additional charge for the pool in Skybrook and it is hefty. I think the reason why so many homes are for sale especially near the entrance is because of the apartments going in between Nomad and the main entrance. The neighborhood is also split between Meck and Cabarrus and the recent redisticting for CMS could also be playing a role.

Skybrook and the schools in feeds into for K-12 were completely untouched and had no boundary changes FYI. Less than 10% of students district wide were impacted, the vast majority of that concentrated in just the Dilworth-Sedgefield and Cotswold-Billingsville pairing.

I recently read that there is $1000 buy in to the pool and then it's $78 a month.
