Default Ryan Homes in Vermillion

We are looking at possibly building a home through Ryan homes in Vermillion (Huntersville). I was wondering if anyone had any input on their rep. as builders and this community overall. We're going down this weekend to take a look, but since we aren't familiar with Ryan, we just wanted some input. Thanks!

There are several threads on this forum about Ryan Homes and various neighborhoods. I am not familiar with the neighborhood you mentioned, but I bought a Ryan home, and have been more than pleased with their customer service. They build quickly, so if you can stay on top of the building process, you'll be fine.

Ryan homes seem really good to work with. I live in the neighborhood across the street from Vermillion and we are always trucking over to the bar/restaurant. The ribs are to die for there. You could do a lot worse!!

Just remember with anything they promise you get it in writing....

Good luck and welcome to the area!

You mentioned they build quickly.. the salesperson said they build a house in about 4 months, which would be perfect for us. Is this a realistic time frame to expect?

Yes, they built my home in 4 months, and some of them in my neighborhood have gone up faster.

They do build in about 4 months, however if you are not goiong to be here when they build be sure that your realtor stays on top of them. Be sure to get any promises in writing BEFORE you leave the office. In NC concerning Real Property, if it is not in writing it did not happen!!!!!! Be sure and get a good Realtor

We live in Gilead Ridge and they built ours in less than 4 months. Hire an inspector! Our pre drywall and pre closing inspections found quite a bit!

My husband and I bought a Ryan home in Vermillion. While the sales experience was pleasant, they have not yet started construction. We were told that they build in approximately 95 days, so I say less than 4 months - once they begin - seems about right. A word of caution: If you really need/want something quickly, make sure you are very specific with the sales people about time frames. Ryan is experiencing a delay in beginning construction in Vermillion, due to some developer related issues. We bought back in December and still no date to begin construction on our home.
