I just accepted a job as an IT Auditor for one of the large accounting firms and will be moving to Charlotte in August. I will be heading to Charlotte in three days to look for a place to live that isn't more then a 30 minute drive to uptown. Will gladly take any advice on places to live.

I am a software engineer/systems analyst for a market leading human resources outsourcing firm, specializing in development tools and processes.

In my spare time I am a political activist, although I despise politics and the idea of government in general

O.K. I'll bite. I think I have the coolest job on here. I am a Director of Training/Store Development for a local coffee company. What do I do? Well, I train people to make coffee and espresso drinks. I also help people open new coffeehouses. I help open coffeehouses all over the region. I take their idea, and make it a reality. I come up with new coffee drinks, and currently have one that's featured all over Charlotte. I educate people about good quality, fresh coffee, and the differences between "us" and the Green Giant. And I drink coffee. Alot of it.
Yep, that's what I do. I have been in the coffee industry for 10 years. Opened two of my own shops, worked as an assistant roaster with Krispy Kreme, worked with Caribou Coffee, and now where I am. And I love my job. I love helping people, and I love seeing people learn more about coffee, and the joy of a "great, not average" cup of coffee.
