Well, certainly the main coffee places, Starbucks, Caribu, Dean and Deluca, that sort of thing. I find them major hit or miss places. I can only guess that it is because of the high turn over rate of the baristas working there.

I have ordered lattes at places like Mickey and Mooch.

There are some little coffee houses in Union County I have tried....Covenant Coffee is one. Some of the others I can't remember the names of....oh, Manhattan Coffee and Ice Cream is one.

I have heard there is a good place up in Dilworth, but I rarely get up there.

Oh, I am so sorry.

Do you have a good support network? Family?

I work as a Mom to my 2 kids. I also work as a psychologist in part-time private practice. I am working on obtaining my license in North Carolina so I will be ready to go when I get there. I evaluate children for learning disabilities, adhd, giftedness, emotional issues, etc. I also evaluate teens who get involved in the court system and parents who are going through custody disputes or who are involved with child protective services. I love both my jobs and feel so fortunate that I get to do both.

Some of the good local coffee spots are Dilworth Coffee House, Jacksons Java, Port City Java, Smelly Cat Cafe, and Rocky River Coffee.

My husband is a Facilities Technician here in California. I have my own home based business in internet sales. I also work part time in the schools. If/when (hopefully when) we relocate to NC I will be looking for a part time teaching job in the schools and continue with my internet business. I've also thought about working in children's advocacy in some capacity.

I'm a freelance writer and editor.

We've been here two years and I finally have one client. But now I think I want to do something else.

Probably because my client frustrates me and I feel like I no longer have enough time for my own writing.
