For those interested in keeping updated on what is happening in Union County, there is an electronic newsletter that you can subscribe to from the Union County website. Here's the latest edition:

Having worked part-time in the elections office, I can tell you it's because their phone rings off the hook this time of the year with people asking all those questions. Really good info in that article. Hope folks take the time to read it.

P.S. I highly advise you take advantage of the One Stop Early Voting locations. This year, there will be an early voting precinct at the new VFD off New Town Rd in the Marvin area. (Sure hope they get the bridge back in before then). Early voting begins April 24 (10-6 weekdays/9-1 Saturdays) and runs through May 3.
