Son just moved into apartment but doesn't have a washer and dryer. Any reccomendations where he can purchase a used set that might deliver??

Thanks

Give your son a budget and make him figure it out. Sounds like something a kid living on his own should be able to handle.

Most places deliver for 50 bucks. I would check out Craigslist if he's on a tight budget and borrow a friend's truck.

Good luck to your fragile boy. God knows he'll need it if he can't research the question in your OP without mommy and daddy.

Seriously though - checkout Craigslist. Also HH Gregg or Sears may have some good deals since they are going out of business.

HH Gregg is out of business, kind of hard to buy anything there. While Sears is closing stores, as of now they are not yet going out of business.

There a couple of used appliance stores, I wan't impressed when looking for a used refrigerator. Ended up buying one at the Sears outlet store on South Blvd.

Have your son register for nextdoor.com. It is a great neighborhood resource where neighbors sell items, recommend services, etc. He might be able to find a washer and dryer and since it will be located close to him - someone selling might be willing to deliver.

If he knows someone with a truck or van, Habitat might have something.
