**Those were are all docs I have either seen as a patient or worked with in the area hospitals. I am a bit psycho when it comes to my/my kids health care (I am a horrible patient). I can also list the very, very, very bad doctors, but that might not go over very well (beware there are some in Charlotte). Maybe I could do it in Pig Latin.

EXCELLENT pediatrician--- Dr. Andrew Gunter with University Pediatrics, located at University Hospital medical office building.
The absolute best doctor I have ever had, Dr. Bridget Bongaard in Concord, (primary care/internal medicine and now she does integrative care/Quantum Touch too)- her new office is at CMC-Northeast. She is the best ever...good at what she does, compassionate, talented.
An excellent group of OBs-- Copperfield OB/GYN in Harrisburg, the staff their is friendly and it's a small office, prompt...their main office is in Concord. Its staff is ok...you can't go wrong with these doctors especially for pregnancy. They are all good, my favorite was Dr. Brittian Beaver.
For a pediatric eye doctor we liked Dr. Daugherty at Horizon Eyecare. I can tell you one in Huntersville to stay FARRRRR away from. I can tell you a pediatrician in Harrisburg to stay away from.

Lovesthecarolinas - I have been told by at least 3 doctors that Dr Maniloff is the best rheumatologist in Charlotte. I have also been told he is an excellent diagnostician.

I am going to add a few more: Carmel Family Physicians - Dr Marc Lewin (FP), Charlotte Pediatrics - Dr Andrew Shulstad (Ped) + Dr James Alderman(Ped), Metrolina Neurological - Dr J Pugh(Neurologist), Carolina Neurosurgery and Spine - John A. Welshofer, M.D. (Physical Medicine and Rehab)

I have to recommend Weddington Family Medicine on 84. You can always get in the same day, and the staff is so friendly. They are always taking new patients. The number is 704.841.2175. Dr. Sharma and Dr. Ladd  |
