Charlotte OB/GYN has several female physicians, and they have a Huntersville office. Dr. McCurdy (sp?) is great and works out of both the Huntersville and Morehead Medical offices.

my husband and i use dr. stephen bauer in ballantyne for our general doctor and have been very happy with practice. i use dr. priyz baja for gyn at peidmont gyn in ballantyne. no matter how busy they make her schedule (and they always seem to double/triple book her) she acts as if she has all the time in the world for you.

Can anyone recommend a good allergist in the area? After 30+ years of living in NC, I'm finally going to break down and get checked out. My sinuses have been giving me a fit ever since I turned 30.

I live in Huntersville, but I am willing to drive to a good doctor.

I really like Dr. Richard Silton at Charlotte Allergy Clinic. He's very knowledgeable, thorough, and personable. He goes the extra mile to find out what's troubling you.

I just did this thread on Best Doctors In North Carolina and you can find about every field
Best Doctors, which polls physicians nationwide, received record responses for the 2008-09 list. Doctors are asked whom they would choose if they or a member of their family needed a specialist. Fewer than 5% of North Carolina's 29,000 licensed physicians made the list.

In the Charlotte area on the Best Doctors in the state list for ALLERGY AND IMMUNOLOGY

David Lefkowitz III | Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center | Charlotte
Richard S. Roberts | Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center | Charlotte
Richard P. Silton | Carolina Asthma and Allergy Center | Charlotte

tmhill is on a distinguished road
There will be a great dermatologist starting practice in ballanyne around november. His name is Dr. Marc Darst.
I have known him for 4-5 years now. He was a family doctor in indy for 10yrs before he decided to go to derm residency. So he has great knowledge of internal disorders that could cause skin diseases. Also, he did a 1 year fellowship in derm path so he is a Dermatopathogist as well and has worked one year in a dermpath lab here in dayton. He will finish up next week then move to charlotte. He is one of the nicest kindest doctors I have ever met. I would highly recommend him.
