I relocated almost a year ago for the same reason. Winter here is insane! So pleasant. I have been in a good mood everyday, because of it. I'm not trapped in my house because of ice, snow below 0 temps....
Hello- last weeks storm? Need I say more? It was 77 degrees here today! My mom called me excited about the 47 degree temps you had today... I laughed
If you message me I can give you some info on cool townhomes. Let me know- I'm a teacher not a realtor... so dont worry
Yes there is a cult of you all here! A good friend of mine is from Ohio and on Sat. we can't do anything unless a TV is involved during football season!
I too am from Ohio (Cleveland) and relocating to the Charlotte, I have not found a place yet. I will probably look for something in south Charlotte or around Pineville. My job is paying for my relocation so I will apartment/condo hunting next weekend. I start working on the 21st. I never thought I would leave Cleveland, but with the weather and utility bills, and economic deficiencies in this area, it's definitely time to make a move.
