SO hubby leaves next week and we have found someone to rent our home here in MI...that means lil one and I leave mid April.

so ladies, I wll miss the March 27th outing but what I want to know is - who will be my new best friend :-)

What is this ladies' night all about? I haven't heard about this. I have been here only 4 months and I could sure use to make some more friends here.

We started a Ladies' Night Out so we could meet up and just have a relaxing evening, exchange info and make new friends! CD posts our next get together as a "sticky" at the top of the forum page!

Also, BarbJ has been trying to find out if there are others in LKN, University, (areas more N) who would like to have a get together, as so far, more women have responded from S. CLT and SC than any other region - so she thought perhaps another get together would be convenient for women living N. I will find that thread and post it for you!

I am a mom but an older mom, two of my kids are in college and stayed up north and one of mine is in high school. Lake Norman Mommies appeared to be for moms of young kids. Maybe I am wrong.

Some moms have teens, but yes, more have small children. Have you looked into the local Woman's Club or anything like that?
