I am concerned about the schools. I read some of the other threads that mentioned some things about the schools not being so good and the taxes going through the roof. Everybody has their own opinion I guess. Someone suggested Concord but I also wanted to look inside Charlotte for some ideas.
But I will look into the places you suggested and I appreciate your help.

Meck County is a big place and too large to generalize. Some places are great; others, not so much.

At times mecklenburg county can be a bad place to live in but overall its really a great place. I suggest staying in Cabarrus county like in Harrisburg. Its a great little city that building up. Your right there at Mecklenburg county but still get the benifits of lower taxes and great schools. Just a suggestion |

Absolutely none. Try Gaston County. Just kidding. But, your question does not show a lot of intelligent forethought. Do you really think that there is a possibility of there not being good areas in Mecklenburg? Do you even know where Mecklenburg is? |
