Its around hwy 160, I-485 and hwy 49 area in sw charlotte.
I don't know about the schools there.

I agree with the prior poster, you should consider looking in the Steele Creek area. In particular, look for neighborhoods south of Westinghouse Blvd.

Way back on one of my posts I had asked about the Steele Creek area, although only if it was in Meck Cty. My next door neighbors are planning to move there as one of her sons already lives there and the other has a deposit on a pre-construction home. From what they told me, it sounds like this area has and/or will have a large hispanic population. The way they put it, there are a "bunch" there already. They are getting into high $160's and high $180's new homes.

This is very true--- many hispanics, especially around the I-485/S Tryon area down toward Westinghouse.
