Unless they are in foreclosure..... I'm amazed at how many houses I've seen in foreclosure in the two years that we've lived here. And, its just as often in places like River Run or waterfront communities than in lower-cost communities. "A fool and his money", I guess.

North charlotte has some expensive communities, by that I mean rental or condo. I would divide affluent by the family oriented areas and the career oriented areas.

Diverse, in what way?

Clothing style?
Preferred football team?
Favorite movie director?

How about places like Plaza Midwood? Lots of affluent people there and not so affluent as well.

I like my neighborhood because there are people who enjoy all different types of popcorn. My neighbor like butter on hers. I like the regular movie theater style. The old couple down the street like kettle corn. My kid eats candy corn. My dog eats a corn based food. So much diversity.

Since the OP has only ever made this one post, my guess is that either (1) they're trolling or (2) by "diverse" they're referring to the colloquial usage meaning "non-white"
