Bugs - Austin has them too (as do many other cities)
Hurricanes - When was the last real one to hit? Over 20 years ago.
Illegal immigrants, fast food - proof?
Unhealthiest - What does that mean, and according to who?

And both you and the OP fail to recognize any positives.

America's Fattest City - TV Reviews - TV & Radio - Entertainment - theage.com.au

As a former memeber often said: "Google is your friend."

Houston was named the fattest city for the fourth time in five years, followed by Philadelphia, Detroit, Memphis and Chicago (from 2005).

USATODAY.com - Magazine names Seattle as fittest city, Houston as fattest

And don't even get me started on the AQ with all the crap coming in from Mexican factories. I know Charlotte AQ is bad, but any place near the Mexican border is MUCH worse.
