I’m looking to relocate from Boston using my Section 8 voucher.
I have perfect, high credit and a good rental history, and am “starting over”.

Im hoping to find a well-maintained apartment in a safe neighborhood, near at least some small stores and a bus or train.

Any suggestions as to where to start?

Arnd are landlords there typically ”section 8 friendly” for a good tenant?

First, I want to wish you well in your new endeavor. Second, the Charlotte market is very different than that of Boston, in that most rentals in this area are in apartment complexes; people rent out townhouses and such, but the number of people who do so is proportionately low.
