Aulani is on a distinguished road
ok, I know this thread has begun to get off track, [i]but...[i]I'm VERY interested.
As a Texas native, the "right to bear arms' is a natural, as a former Mass resident, I feel lucky that my local Chief-of-Police allowed me to get my concealed-carry permit. I had a "visitor's" temp license from NH & when I told the the "State of Maine" that I had a permit from MA - they were AMAZED! (MA is one of THE TOUGHEST places to get a license) & was promptly issued a license here. I've talked to a rep from NC & I know what will be involved in gettting my license here; all I can say is...SOBs that thinK I'm a target because I'm a "GIRL"?!?!?!?! GUESS WHAT - I'm a pro in the art of "ching, ching, POW!" (the sound of me engaging my 9mm). To all of you sisters - check out the "2nd Amendment Sisters" - website, talk about empowering -you'll feel great about your decision to defend yourself!

There is something very satisfying about firing off a few rounds.
Maybe the Beatles (White Album) were right...'happiness is a warm gun'

Our more liberal readers are shuddering in protest I assure you...

Although a 9m is a little small (I keep one in the car), check out a .40 S&W (Glock 23 for example).
Recoil of a 9mm, and stopping power of a .45
