"We have the best fans in footballs". LOL. Carolina fans only pull for the Panthers when they are winning. This year, nosebleed seats are going for $150 each. Yet when they are losing PSL's are giving away tickets. Good luck!!!

Which dialect? Geordie? Or, how about Las Panteras de Ciudad de México?

Due to reported declining fan interest this season in particular, potential growing CTE fears, etc., will some prospective buyer(s) potentially acquire the Panthers at a discount to their pre-season 2017 valuation?

We were the first franchise to privately fund a stadium due with the PSL model - something many others doubted to be feasible. Due to fan interest, it was a huge success and other cities have followed our model. Ticket prices may shift based on success (as they do everywhere), but Carolina football fans have proven to be very strong indeed.

Jon Bon Jovi has been wanting to purchase a team for a long time now. He's dabbled in team ownership in the Arena league, and he's been shadowing Bob Kraft up in New England. It might be a chance for Bon Jovi to finally realize his dreams of being an NFL owner if he has the funds.
lol - Bon Jovi? His network is around $400M. In most biz scenarios that's enough - to be an owner, you're network has to begin with a capital 'B'. Diddy has a better chance at being worth $900M (and even that won't make it).

Cool Curry for President

Hahah would be awesome if Curry could buy them. Otherwise, we may have some issues in Charlotte....

I hear he is "only" worth $1 Billion, that's probably still at least another $1 Billion short, and that's if he sells everything he has to make his $1 Billion of assets into cash!

I'm not saying he couldn't be a part of a larger buying group, but no way he has enough money to do it by himself.

The Panthers "have sold out 225 of their 227 home games in team history, including 157 straight."

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/panther...s-politicians/

I am quite sure the Panthers have not won 225 out of 227 home games, yet they have been sell-outs. So your comment makes no sense.

The lead of a group of bidders has to put up 30% of the asking price.

I'd like to see a group of east coast bidders. They're likely to ask the question that's the elephant in the room. Why is Carolina in the Southern division while Dallas is in the East? They're likely to ask about that, but unlikely to want to physically move the team.
