Eastfield Village is a retail center located at the southeast quadrant of Eastfield Road and Prosperity Church Road in the Huntersville community in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. It was initially anchored by a supermarket, Lowe's Foods #213, 13108 Eastfield Road, Huntersville, North Carolina 28078-6625. Lowe's Foods #213 was acquired by Harris Teeter in a store swap in 2012, and became 201central, Harris Teeter's wine, beer, and specialty food store.

201central's Eastfield Village store, 201central #476, is closing in February.

Just what the area needs....another grocery store. There's a HT, Publix and Aldi just around the corner.

If Food Lion is serious about opening an "easy, fresh, and affordable" store at Eastfield Village that has the necessities of food and pharmacy, has fresh foods and quality products, and has extra low prices, it could succeed. If it is wasting time and money into another store with shortcomings, its Eastfield Village store will have a short life.

Now that they have already opened, it has that yuck Ahold overkill decor interior used in SC and VA remodels, and not a surprise, no such thing as a pharmacy at that store! Not a good neighbor when it comes to prescriptions.

Isn't there a Walgreens or CVS right across Eastfield from it? Harris Teeter on Ridge has a pharmacy, Publix right across from Harris Teeter has a pharmacy. Not a good neighborhood for prescriptions?

Pharmacy and decor is not what I look for in Supermarkets. Competitive prices and good store brand private labels which FL has yes.

Many of these supermarket pharmacy counters don't look busy to me at all compared to CVS, Walgreen's and Walmart.

Food Lion #2243 does not have a pharmacy indeed. I do not know when Food Lion Pharmacy #2243 will open.

Food Lion may disagree with you on having competitive prices and good store brand private labels. High prices and low quality products produce empty parking lots at Food Lion stores. Food Lion lacks customers for obvious reasons.

Pharmacies have peak production times. Those times are in the morning, at lunch, and in the evening. If a pharmacy can fill 300 scripts a day and 2,500 to 3,000 scripts a week, it is doing well.
