Where are all the Lake Norman dollar stores? There was a nice one next to Walmart in Mooresville, but the last time I went there was a sign saying they were closing down. I believe the one in Huntersville near Gilead is closed too.

I won't pay $4 for gift bags!! I just cant do it! Lol

Lower Lake Norman caters to High end shoppers.

Besides Mooresville you probably will need to go into North West and West Charlotte for stores in close proximity. Btw Family Dollar Headquarters is located in Matthews if you want to support the local ecomony

The one in Mooresville by the Walmart is temporarily closed because the building sustained structural damage about two weeks ago in that windstorm we had. The Rugged Wearhouse store next door is also closed for the same reason.

I know they are few and far between! When I first moved here, I arrived several days before my things did. I only had what was in my car. I stopped at the Quiznos in Birkdale for some food and asked the guy where I could find a dollar store because I realized I needed a shower curtain!! He gave me directions to a Family Dollar somewhere (I still don't know where it is.) I ended up running to Wal Mart in Mooresville.

Mooresville does have both Family Dollar and Dollar General. Not a Dollar Tree, I know, but since the Dollar Tree is closed temporarily, they could work for now Oh, check Big Lots, too. They may have some.
