thanks for the reassurance. we have 3 girls 13,12 & 8. The older ones are pretty much trembling but I am hoping time will help and once we're living there they will start to acclimatise. The older 2 are close in age so hopefully they will be able to support one another. I am glad you pointed out the new teacher and tour thing, I went into the middle school recently and they really didn't want to talk to me until I am actually living there.
my son is 13, and your dd's will do just fine...people we know recently moved with a dd entering HS and she has more friends than she thought she would.... you mentioned u bought new construction im sure there are alot of kids you childrens age, where u bought as we have visited and looked there serveral times..
hi everyone. Frogchick here, just a gal that is supposed to be moving to cuthbertson. My parents weren't on board with the idea, so were moving to stay in weddington.
BTW - for the record - Cuthberton Middle and High will be opening in 7 months, Aug. 09 on schedule.
The elementary school hasn't been started yet, as far as I can see, but that is slated for a 2010 opening.
It may....they are building Poplin Elementary and I think they are still doing Unionville Middle and H.S.
All new schools have been postponed indefinitely. Poplin and Cuthbertson are the last ones.
