Are you talking about the company Travelers, or are you talking about insurance for travelers? I am well educated on insurance for travelers. Clarify and maybe I can help?

I am now savvy on travelers insurance after doing extensive research for a pending voyage. All I can say is that I used to be in the insurance business and Travelers was reputable and has been around a while.

I have Traveler's Homeowners insurance. I filed a claim on January 3, 2008 and I am still without a bedroom and bathroom and fighting with them to pay a reasonable amount for the claim! Stay away from them!!!

Default Travelers

If you are in South Carolina the rates for Travelers are very competitive. However, in North Carolina pricing is better with some other carriers. Since you are dealing with an independent agency ask them to see rates from several different carriers. Travelers is a a+ carrier meaning they are very financially sound and as I use to represent them can speak for their wonderful claims service.

The insurance company is only as good as the coverage you purchase. Be sure to purchase a Ho3, HO5, or HE7 if in NC. In South Carolina only the 3 is available.

Good luck to you in your search and if I can be of assistance, please let me know.
