Well I can't speak for what's happening for anyone else, but I just sold my house on LI in the first week that it was on the market for about 4% below asking price. By the time the open house was over we had three offers. I was planning to plant a St. Joseph's statue, but didn't even have the time to do it! I think the key was pricing it fairly (not emotionally) based on what the market will bear, fixing up all the little things that we had been putting off for years, and having a great team of real estate agents (thanks Alisa and Gina!). NC, here I come!

Well congrats to you! Sounds like you were very realistic about your local market and the pricing of homes, and that certainly paid off for you
My neighbor told me to plant a St Josephs upside down in the yard! I didn't know what she was talking about, an ambulance arrived that day as her husband was sick (77), and I just thought she was in shock. Maybe I'll still need a little some;thing to get us through to closing, appraiser for bank is coming tomorrow
Thanks loves! I can't tell you what a great source of information this forum has been thanks to posters like you!
