I came out of my house once to find a guy on a bicycle stealing a potted plant off the neighbors front porch. I hollered at him and said "hey put that back", you should have seen his legs peddling as fast as he could. It was a kids bike so I bet he stole that too! I called the police and could not help but laugh as I made the report. The neighbor and I also had a good laugh over that one! Pitiful but funny.

I was told it was people who sell them at flea markets or from the back of trucks on main roads. I had several potted plants stolen from my porch once.

A little OT, but it's the most outrageous theft that's ever happened to me. Someone stole a homemade apple pie out of my car once. I hope they choked on it.

Yum yum. Now really - can you blame them? I love homemade apple pie.

Maybe someone lost their wheelchair. Yes, it does happen! My husband was in NE Charlotte following a car with a wheelchair sticking out of the trunk. The car hit a bump, the wheelchair bounced out, the trunk closed, and the driver kept right on going. The poor guy never knew he lost it and my husband had no way of letting him know. Maybe the mystery chair is his!

No kidding. When Miss Scarlett barks at nite, I get up immediately, turn on perimeter lights and get ready to do battle, if needed, LOL.

This has been interesting. Who knew that so many people have had plants, of all things, stolen!!! Dern.

Now my son left his baseball bat outside one time and someone stole it, but we figure that was another kid in the neighborhood.
