On Monday morning, I left my house to find a wheelchair in my front yard. I called the police to come look at the chair in case it's owner met with foul play. Yesterday morning, the chair was in someone else's yard and today I see it is back in the owner's driveway. At least I think it is the owner, I have seen someone from that house rolling through the neighborhood.
Next time, I am taking the chair into my house and selling it or giving to charity. Any other weird stories out there?
That is weird I would ask the owner what is the deal.
My neighbor kids had plastic Easter eggs in the yard so I bought about 50 of those plastic Easter eggs and toss them in my neighbors yard Saturday night.
My neighbor and I have a sidewalk (neighborhood walking trails) between our homes and there is a large wooden arbor over the sidewalk. We plant things at the base of the arbor to look nice. One Saturday, my neighbor planted some gorgeous flowers and a flowering vine. She awoke on Sunday morning to find holes in the ground - someone had dug up her new plants! We had a good laugh over that - who steals planted plants?

Years ago, I had a friend who saved up her money for quite a while so she could purchase nice sized azaleas to "naturalize" the area at the edge of the wooded side of her house. She bought 36 azaleas.
One Sunday, they came home from church and someone had dug up every last one of her plants.

Do you think a child is involved w/ this strange behavior? Is this an expensive wheelchair - or a fold up one? If a person needs a wheelchair - looks like he/she would need it 24/7 . . . doesn't make much sense that it is outside.
Have you asked any of the neighbors about this? Have you lived there very long?
I haven't gone to talk to them, I don't plan to unless it happens again. If it was the kids, the parents must have noticed the thing was missing and now is back. These folks have a bad rep in the neighborhood so I don't know if I will even bother talking to them.

That is just weird.
If it ends up on your property again and you decide to confiscate it, consider donating it to a nursing home. They would appreciate it.
Someone stole the planters off of my front stoop. People are shameless.
