Default Looking into Buying a New Home....

Does anyone have any comments on any of the Builders in Baxter Village. Saussy Burbank, David Weekly, S.E. Miller, or Evans Coghill. My wife and I really like that community, but I can't seem to find any "dirt" on any of the builders.

Thanks!

Search "Baxter" and you'll find a thread from less than a week ago talking about the neighborhood and a few of the builders.

My parents live in a Saussy townhome and my brother and sister-in-law live in a SE Miller home in Baxter. My wife and I live in a Saussy home in a separate neighborhood, Monteith Park. We are all very pleased with the quality of construction and the service provided by both Saussy and SE Miller. Saussy sticks to their floorplans, but SE Miller is a semi-custom builder. My brother provided a plan that he tweaked and Miller gladly made the changes. The biggest hold-up was getting it approved by the Architectural Review board.

Weekly is a national builder. I haven't heard anything negative about them. Coghill builds a beautiful home - IMO, they're the highest end builder in Baxter.

Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the builders in Baxter. Saussy and Weekly will build a nice house without much customization allowed. Miller and Coghill will build a higher end home that allows some customization, as long as the architectural review board approves.
