My neighbor there just informed me, that really sucks. I'll have to stop by the office next time I get a chance to confirm. Shouldn't we see a reduction in HOA fees until it's done? What we pay seems relatively high compared to what's included (not much).
I'm moving to a place that does not have the clubhouse/pool finished either and residents aren't paying a reduced HOA fee. Hower it's opening in April. I would say it's probably more hassle than it's worth to have an HOA temporarily reduce fees. And remember the money you pay now won't disappear. It will go to reserve cash on the HOA's balance sheet.
We're moving to Fieldstone Farms in August and we're told those things wouldn't be complete until late 2009. If memory serves, it has something to do with when the developer will have built out a certain percentage of the total project. I guess things are slowing down.
Seems odd to me- Ravenhill and Foxcroft are "sold out"- no more spec/inventory homes at the moment. The area for the clubhouse has been "set up", I had no idea it was delayed. If memory serves me right though- a few weeks ago my parents were visiting and Kelly- Ravenhill Rep. said that the pool should be open in the summer. ?
HOA fees are $110 quarterly. The pool is very nice and so is the clubhouse.
