Has anyone applied at CLT? It's normally open until 3:30pm but I'm finding some appointments open in early June that go after 5pm. I'm trying to figure out if that's a mistake or if they occasionally have later hours. Generally there are very few appointments available. I would prefer to go to JFK but my partner is insisting we do it at CLT.

I've done it in CLT. Actually last October. My appointment was around 11am though as it was the earliest available I could get (date wise) as otherwise it was booked MONTHS out. Process was very easy and painless, over in 30 minutes tops, probably less actually. Of course it's horribly inefficient with lots of wasted payroll and they could honestly do twice a much each day but besides that it was great! lol

I've read several articles that recommend just bundling it with upcoming travel and knocking it out that way but since CLT does it I just went ahead.

Good luck!

Thanks. So there should be no problem scheduling an interview, *after* I sign up and pay the $100 application fee. Right now I can view the schedule but I can't select anything.

I thought about combining this with travel but my partner really wants to see Charlotte, I guess. We have never been there.

Yes, once you pay the money and they do the background checks and that's approved, you can select your date/time and wait for it to come around. Hopefully they've improved the wait time and it's not so far out into the future, I literally thought the system was broken I had to go out so far! lol

Charlotte is worth checking out, maybe you can combine it with a show of some sort too and make a nice visit out of it. Good luck!

So my husband and I both have conditional approval and are ready to schedule an appointment. Can anyone tell me where the Global Entry interview room is at CLT airport?

The interview room is on the first floor. Walk past the baggage claim area to international arrivals.

Did it change recently? Back in October it was across from one of the security checkpoints.
