Hi,

I have been living in Charlotte for sometime and so far have enjoyed the city. I like the weather here and had known a few people when I moved in with whom I played tennis with. Unfortunately, most of them are relocating to other cities and I am struggling a bit to find people to play tennis with. I know there are a few clubs but I have a demanding job that doesn't allow me to take full advantage of those memberships, especially consider many of them are not cheap.

Tennis players in Charlotte, do you have any suggestions as for how should I find people to play tennis in the city? Any economical group/club recommendations? Feel free direct message me if you are also trying to find people to play tennis!

Thanks in advance.

https://terristennisladder.com/

Terri's Tennis Ladder is the biggest league in the area. Completely flexible, you play where and when and as often as you like. The ladders are divided up by rating, so you can join a league with other players at your level, and there are ladders for doubles and mixed doubles, too. Over time, you meet lots of players and play at all the courts in town. There are four sessions per year, so there's always a new session coming up. $25 per session, which is pretty cheap. The Charlotte Tennis Association (above) has a similar ladder league, but more players are in Terri's league. She used to run the CTA league, but broke away, and the better players followed her.

T2 Tennis is an option T2Tennis - Charlotte
Not sure what area you live but Weddington Swim and Tennis has a bunch of league and round robin options as is very cheap (about $950/yr for family). http://weddswimrac.com/WSRC/WSRCHome.html
