glad to see Homelife getting the negative score it deserves.

And CP Morgan getting a 5 for Price and Value??? Give me a break, they are the most dishonest builder in town! The houses they sell are practically stripped! Want a doorbell? That's extra. Want closet doors? That's extra. Want a kitchen counter? That's extra! By the time you get all the "upgrades" to bring it up to level to the average competitor... you are pretty much paying the same price.

The only positive thing about CP Morgan is this: Their base price homes are a decent option for large, low income families that need more space and no frills.

high price doesn't always equal high quality.

Homelife is a joke! I am in the process of building a home with them and if it were not for the fact that I have monies tied up with them I would be long gone from this deal. Their homes are nice and the communities also seem nice but as far as customer satisfaction, they could care less. They have been dishonest, made a million mistakes and they refuse to live up to the fact that they made mistakes and refuse to put the customers satisfaction to the forefront and make good on the mistakes made. The reps from the community I am dealing with right to the reps at corporate are arrogant to say the least. It's no wonder why they have scored so low with J.D Powers. If I have to deal with one more mistake or attitude from these clowns I am walking and I will be taking them to court to get my deposits back. Anyone else have similiar problems with these jokers????

As stated earlier in this thread, I am not fond of them. They are big on "telling you what you want to hear". You may want to try consulting a real estate attorney. If they are not correcting mistakes, you shouldn't have to buy the home. Also check this thread... its long, but discusses a lot of the builders.. this link will highlight any mention of homelife:
