Is Marriott City Center in Uptown? (Charlotte: hotels, restaurant, walkable)

If not, is there another Marriott hotel in Uptown? We are looking for a walkable area. My partner has Marriott points that he wants to use.

Yes, it is in the very center of Uptown. The hotel has been nicely renovated and is actually the test hotel for Marriott hotels worldwide. On the tablet in the rooms, guests can give feedback on the features so Marriott can determine what stays and what goes for their new hotel renovations at other hotels.
